Fine-tuning notifications

People should be able to do their work without being distracted by Matrix. In an age of digital distractions, we all need to learn how notifications should be adjusted step by step in a meaningful way.

Global settings

Settings > Notifications

Here, you may need to gain some experience to understand which notifications really require an immediate response and when a quick check is enough.

Room settings

When you move the mouse over individual rooms in the room list on the right, three gray dots appear for each room. Click them to configure notifications separately for each room.
